On 29th of December 2009, General Water of China Co., Ltd. held the commencement ceremony for its Wenzhou sludge centralized drying and burning project. Many authorities from relative local government jointed the ceremony.

 

This project is one of the main projects from Wenzhou government to benefit the local resident. The subsidiary of General Water of China from Wenzhou is responsible for the constructing and operating of the project. The total investment is 120 million RMB, and the total capacity of daily sludge treatment is 240 ton. The area of factory occupation of land is 13,334 square metres, and the area of construct is about 4470 square metres. Expected duration of the construction is 11 month. This factory will be responsible for the treatment of the sludge which is generated from Wenzhou’s central and eastern sewerage treatment plants.

 

The project consists of: sludge storage system, sludge drying system, sludge burning system, afterheat utilization system, tail gas treatment system, odour treatment system, fire extinguishing system and other assistance system.
